Digital Fluency Intensive 2020 Week Three - Media

Media

My increased understanding of the Manaiakalani kaupapa was to focus more on the Create! I am guilty of, at times forgetting the importance of having the children create and getting enjoyment out of doing. Great reminder!!

My new learning for the day :)

Chalk ‘n Talk: Vicki - You tube

Children need to be 13 and over to have a you tube channel.
You can verify accounts in the settings sections.
- Sharing videos - through blog or google drive rather than accounts

Playlists - google
- can change the individual playlist privacy settings
- Add discription
- share - embedded code for site

I plan to create an Art Hub playlist so the children stay on task and don't get distracted

The power of engagement through media!!
Multi-sensory for multi media for creativity of the 21st century, Sisomo (Sight, Sound, Motion)

- PNG for transparent, publish to the web, size small, embedded code

  1. Ka pai Janelle, your game looks awesome. There are so many great things you can do on Google Slides to ensure you include the 'Create' into your teaching, and how lucky were we to get the opportunity to explore some of them today. Catch you on Friday.
