Core Business
Week One - Digital Intensive (Round Two)
It was great to be able re-do the Core Business section of this course after the intensive being cut short due to Covid 19. I was nervous about doing using the digital platform for the learning even though I studied via distance learning. I found we covered more content and it was easier too follow along and keep up. I enjoyed hearing the story about the origin of the trust again and I found it interesting that in a survey it came up that the children did not think they should be teaching teachers how to use technology.

Reflection
This was a fabulous day of learning. Even though it was the second time completing the core business I still learnt new things and got reminded of others that I have not yet put into practice.
I look forward to the next eight weeks!
Great to have you back again Janelle and even better to hear that your learnt new things second time around. (I too seem to learn new things no matter how often I do the course) It's great to keep your notes on this professional blog, so you know exactly where to find them again and can guide others to them. Your table on Google Docs looks awesome and I look forward to seeing how you are using it in your room. I look forward to seeing you on Friday.

Hi Janelle,
ReplyDeleteI was nervous about doing the first DFI session too! I also enjoyed hearing about the origin story as well. It really gives you a better understanding about what Manaiakalani is all about. I like how you have set out your notes, makes it really easy to recall all the learning that went on during the first session. Your Google Doc creation looks very exciting and practical. I hope it is working well with creating ownership in your class!
Nakau noa,
Nicky
